Note Overlay

Note Overlay is the app for handwritten notes on the Daylight DC-1 tablet. You write with the pen in notebooks and a Daily Note, and your notes are kept on the tablet.

Google Drive

If you choose to, you can connect Note Overlay to your own Google Drive. You sign in on Google's own page with a short code, for example by scanning it with your phone. Note Overlay then keeps a PDF of each notebook, and a PDF of each month of your Daily Note, in a "Note Overlay" folder in your Drive. If you turn it on, it can also keep your pen strokes and typed text there as "Ink for the Mac" files; that is off unless you choose it. It uses Google's per-file access, so it can only see and change files it created itself. The files go straight from your tablet to your Drive; Daylight never receives them. You can disconnect at any time in Note Overlay's settings.
